The National Union of Ghana Students has the pleasure of inviting interested students to the Danquah Institute Economic Forum under the theme;

”Bridging the Gap between Formal and Informal Economy, The Role of Domestic Revenue Mobilization in an Era of Ghana Beyond Aid”.

The program will be held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ridge, Accra from 10am – 1pm on Friday, May 10, 2019.

For years, Ghana has depended on an agglomeration of donor generosity as a means of meeting budget deficits. In the midst of tightening budgets among major donors and in the era of Ghana Beyond Aid, the Institute through this forum, hopes to initiate a serious conversation about how we effectively mobilize domestic resources from both public and private sectors to advance a locally-led and an integrated development agenda. We cannot borrow our way to development.

The union calls on all interested students to contact +233 20 029 5544/ 024 103 7107 ( WhatsApp only / call) to confirm their participation.
