The National Union of Ghana Students wishes to extend its warmest gratitude to the President of the Republic Of Ghana, the Minister for Education, the CEO and the entire management of Masloc for heeding to the wails of the Union, and aiding us with a 33 seater brand new bus to facilitate the day to day manning of the core activities of NUGS.

We unanimously laud the efforts of our predecessors, especially the Tinkaro led administration for initiating the processing that led to the facilitation of the bus.

The Union also counts it, all joy on this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister for Education, for his role in unifying NUGS and his unfazed backing to the Union.

We will forever be grateful for all you have done for students and education at large across the country.

Further on behalf of students, parents and the youth movement of this country, the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) extends a profound gratitude to His Excellency, the President and sector players for their timely reconsideration of the ban placed on the 14 students who were caught in all forms of hooliganism in the early days of their WASSCE examination.

We appreciate the mitigation process, the admonition button pressed in the official release of from the Presidency.

Again, reasons why such abomination should not be repeated were explicitly stated, expressing appreciably, how the President was fatherly, as he ordered GES to reconsider their earlier decision and recall the dismissed candidates to sit for the remaining papers.

With grateful hearts, we express our deepest appreciation for the President’s kind gesture.

Thank you
